Apes- Earth Day Network Footprint Calculator
Prediction: How many planets (Earth) does it take to support your lifestyle?
Answer: 4
Questions:
1) How often do you eat animal based products?
Often (meat a few times a week and eggs/ dairy almost daily)
Why do you think this affects your footprint? Explain.
I think it affects my footprint because every person in the world was wast too many cows or animals.

EDIT your Footprint by making CHANGES to your lifestyle. List the changes you have to your lifestyle below and the impact it had on your ecological footprint. Show your new results.
Changes Made:
1) I would changed Eggs/Milk/Dairy (occasionally (once or twice a week) to very often (nearly every meal)
2) I would changed fresh, unpackaged foods (about half and half - sometimes I cook local food, sometimes I order pizza) to (I'm a farmer's market fiend but I really like potato chips)
3) I would changed the food that I eat is locally grown or produced less than 200 miles away
(about half) to (most of the food i eat is grown locally)
4) I would changed my monthly new clothing, footwear and/or sporting goods purchases (new pants and a shirt) to (not much - maybe some T-shirts and socks)
5) I would changed my household's annual new household furnishings purchases ( a new lamp or table, just to spruce things up) to (maybe some bedding - I haven't decorated in years)

I learn a lot of things by doing this activity. I need to eat less animal products so the percent of killing animal will be reduced .I have to save gas, and also I need to save electricity too, I have to turn off all the things that I don't use it or need it. As you can see, the two chart of my ecological footprint. In the very first one (in the first chart) it said if everyone lived like me, we'd need 4.3 Planet Earths to provide enough resources. That is too much for me, so I was reduce my ecological Footprint by changed milks/eggs/dairy, fresh, unpackaged foods, the food that I eat is locally grown or produced less than 200 miles away, my monthly new clothing, footwear and/or sporting goods purchases, and lastly is my household's annual new household furnishings purchases. After I changed all those things that I just said, I was look at my data and I saw my Planet Earths was changed. It changed to 3.6, which it not bad. If I keep changed the right way the Planet Earths will decrease a lot. And the world will be better!
